Cultivation |
After drainage is used to remove excess water from the soil, the soil must be deeply pulverized. Aerating the soil and raising its temperature further helps to improve fertility. By allowing roots to penetrate a greater area of the soil, you enable more food and moisture to be taken up throughout the soil. Seeds that are sown in well cultivated soil germinate more quickly and are stronger. Plants are also stronger. Land that is well drained and worked deeply grows crops earlier and bears better fruits than land that is shallow and poorly worked.
